OFFICE HOURS

The office (ophthalmologists and optometrists) is open Monday through Friday. Appointments may be made by calling 508-853-2020 during office hours. Repeated cancellations and/or no shows will result in our refusal to continue to care for your ophthalmic needs. If you must reschedule, please do so with as much advanced notice as possible, but at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

EMERGENCIES

An ophthalmologist is on call for ocular emergencies 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our answering service will page the ophthalmologist on call for you should a medical emergency arise after office hours or on weekends.

MEDICATION REFILLS

Refill requests may be made Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Please note that refills will not be made after hours, on weekends or holidays. The on-call physician will not answer calls regarding medication refills.

Please remember to discuss any medication concerns and all refill requests you have with your physician at your regularly scheduled appointments. If you need refills and have an appointment, please request them at the time of your visit.

BILLING, INSURANCE
AND REFERRALS

We are participating providers with many health plans. Please note that our ophthalmologists do not participate in “eye plans.” On the other hand, our optometrists participate in many vision plans in the area.

If you are unsure about our participation with your health plan, please contact the Member Services department of your insurance carrier for assistance. It is your responsibility to contact your Primary Care Physician to obtain a referral (number) if your insurance requires one. Your appointment will be rescheduled if you do not have a valid referral at the time of your visit.

Please provide us with as much advanced notice as possible if your insurance plan has or will be changing since your last visit.
